Foreman Leads Girls Track Written by MWDN on 4/22/2010 GIRLS TRACK WAYLAND 88, WESTON 52: Junior Carly Foreman won the long jump, finished second in the triple and was a member of the winning 4x100-meter relay to lead Wayland past visiting Weston in a Dual County League meet. Freshman Kray Thames placed second in the 100 with a personal best of 12.7 and was also a member of winning 4x100 relay. Freshman Maggie Hojlo won the 400 hurdles and Izzy Stern placed first in the 100 hurdles for Wayland (1-2). For Weston, Lauren Chow won both the mile (5:55.9) and two-mile (12:43.9), Alexandra Wheaton placed first in the 100 (12.5) and 200 meters (27.4) and Charlotte Walmsley captured the javelin (90 feet, 3 inches). |
